By volunteering your time, energy, and home to an animal in need, you prepare that animal for adoption into a permanent home as well as increase our capacity to shelter and care for other animals. Foster parents care for underage puppies and kittens and rehabilitate sick, injured, underweight, orphaned, or under-socialized animals in a home environment until they are ready for adoption. At your request, the Shelter will provide all of the food, medicines, vet care and supplies needed. Foster care can be easy or challenging depending upon what type of situation you sign up for. It is totally your choice.
